IT Management Analysts and Consultants
Torsten joined Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) following over 10 years of conceptualizing and managing highly complex IT projects within the virtualization, cloud, and custom software application development realm.
In his past positions as Principal and Director of Professional Services of two major consulting firms, Torsten helped a long list of national and international organizations like The World Bank, Prometric and Cricket Communications evaluate and identify the business value of emerging enterprise technologies.
For Prometric, the world's leading provider of testing and assessment services, Torsten managed the implementation of the company-wide ECM infrastructure and supervised the creation process of Prometric's internal social networking platform. Torsten was also one of the architects behind The World Bank's global ticketing and user-support systems and has led numerous other software development projects for the organization.
Torsten has conceptualized application-aware private, public and hybrid cloud solutions for multiple hosting providers, as well as for a number of large end-customers. The common denominator of all of these solutions was offering customers access to IT infrastructure and software tools that they could not have afforded outside of a cloud setup.
Torsten's year-long advanced research project on the determinants of new venture success at Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland (College Park, MD) underlines his enthusiasm for helping businesses succeed by identifying and refining their positioning within the marketplace.
