The Challenges of Business Intelligence Success

Success often breeds new challenges and that's especially true in the world of Business Intelligence (BI). Industry adoption is on the rise as more employees throughout the enterprise gain direct access to BI systems. Greater adoption is seen as a positive for any company trying to empower its workforce with an increased level of corporate insight. But with greater use comes new pressures on existing systems and solutions. An increased user community combined with higher volumes of data, a greater variety of data sources and increased data velocity are contributing to the growing pains that present new challenges to delivering the business insights users are demanding.
