Abstract:
On May 2, 2012, IBM announced its intentions to acquire Tealeaf Technology, Inc.  as a part of IBM's "Smarter Commerce" initiative targeted at enabling more effective business processes, including external marketing and selling requirements. Based in San Francisco with offices in Europe, Tealeaf Technology has achieved a leadership position through its customer experience analysis capabilities with more than 450 customers worldwide.

Tealeaf offers a unique combination of capabilities in customer experience analysis targeted at customer/consumer digital interactions with web-based applications and mobile services across a variety of verticals including finance, banking, insurance, retail, travel and hospitality, healthcare, energy/utilities, pharmaceutical and transportation, among others.
