ManageEngine Adds Support for Cassandra, MongoDB to Applications Manager Solution
Abstract: On January 29, 2013, ManageEngine (www.manageengine.com), an international vendor of IT enterprise management solutions, announced the addition of new Big Data support in the latest release of its Applications Manager solution. ManageEngine, whose U.S. base is in Pleasanton Ca., provides a broad range of value-priced enterprise management solutions covering network, application, Help Desk, desktop, security, BSM/SLM, virtualization, and other key technologies. The company is a division of Zoho (www.zoho.com), which offers a full range of integrated Cloud-based and on-premise enterprise management solutions. ManageEngine's most recent enhancements to Applications Manager add performance monitoring for Big Data and NoSQL via new support for Cassandra and MongoDB. Apache Cassandra is an Open Source database management system designed to address large collections of data deployed on distributed commodity servers. MongoDB is an Open Source document-oriented database. Both are part of the NoSQL†family of database systems.
