Abstract:
Following the increased demand for improvements in system management, Hewlett-Packard (HP) has introduced several additions to its server and storage management applications and services. Consistent with HP commitment to provide a Unified Infrastructure Management solution, these enhancements have been designed to provide cost savings, streamline and automate the management of IT operations, and improve the performance and efficiency of HP ProLiant and BladeSystem servers. This document outlines the enhancements and provides EMA’s perspective on how this technology impacts HP ProLiant and BladeServers customers, heterogeneous IT environments, and the service management industry as a whole.
