Webinar will uncover strategies to protect organizations

Boulder, Colo., February 17, 2016 – Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), a leading IT and data management research and consulting firm, today announced it will host a webinar titled “Avoiding Data Breaches in 2016: What You Need to Know,” featuring David Monahan, research director at EMA, and David Cramer, VP of product management at BMC.

The groundbreaking research report from BMC and Forbes Insights, “The Game Plan for Closing the SecOps Gap,” surveying more than 300 C-level executives in North America and Europe, showed a resounding 97% of the executives expected a rise in data breaches.   Astonishingly, 44% of executives say breaches occur even after vulnerabilities and remediation paths are identified. So, almost half of data breaches could have been prevented.   As a result, 99% plan to invest more in security in the next 12 months than they did in 2015.

During this webinar, Monahan and Cramer will cover how to set a strategy to protect organizations. Additionally, those who attend will:

  • Understand the risks of the misalignment between security and operations
  • Learn what tools and technology are available to help bridge the gap between security and operations
  • Discover how to build a game plan to help organizations bridge the gap

The webinar is Tuesday, February 23 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern. Those who wish to attend can register at: http://research.www.enterprisemanagement.com/avoiding-data-breaches-in-2016-webinar-pr.html
