DataHub has launched DataHub Cloud v1, positioning the product as a context layer between analytics agents and the data stores they query. The release packages four capabilities. Context Ingestion assembles a unified graph from catalog content, semantic definitions held in tools like dbt and Power BI, plus unstructured knowledge from sources such as Notion and Slack. Context Intelligence mines years of historical queries to produce a semantic index of how an organization computes its metrics. Context Hub gives subject matter experts a place to review, correct, and approve machine-proposed context. Context Activation exposes all of it to agents through an MCP server, an SDK, and prebuilt skills. DataHub Cloud serves agents, including Databricks Genie and Snowflake Intelligence, rather than fielding its own.
