Port Launches AI Builder, a Governed Vibe Coding Experience for Platform Engineering

Port, an agentic SDLC platform designed to enable engineering organizations to scale AI across the SDLC, has launched AI Builder, a natural-language environment for building and operating agentic workflows across the lifecycle. Port positions it as the first vibe coding experience built for platform engineering teams and the developers they support. AI Builder runs on top of Port’s existing platform (a Context Lake, workflow orchestration, agent management, and governance) and adds a conversational layer that plans, builds, and runs the workflows and capabilities an engineer describes, with human review and approval at each step. The builder ships with domain skills spanning platform engineering disciplines (data modeling, architecture, security, AI governance, DevOps, and SRE) and reads each organization’s services, ownership, integrations, and standards through the Context Lake. Port highlights early use cases such as agents that resolve issues on their own, keep AI spending in check, and measure engineering performance.
