StackGen Extends Autonomous Infrastructure into a Governed Operations Control Plane
Category: Impact BriefOn Sept. 15, 2026, StackGen introduced the Autonomous Operations Factory, a governed operating system spanning infrastructure provisioning, software delivery, observability, reliability, and remediation. Its four Aiden agents cover InfraOps, DevOps, observability, and SRE, sharing Aiden OS and one operational context. All are available now; the broader platform, Aiden World Model, and Autonomy Index are in preview for AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud users. The platform adds policy enforcement, approvals, auditability, and cost tracking while executing through existing enterprise tools. EMA sees the larger significance in StackGen’s expansion from autonomous infrastructure into a domain control plane for the production lifecycle, carrying context from intent, policy, delivery, and infrastructure changes into AI-driven reliability decisions rather than reconstructing the production story from telemetry after a failure.
