Abstract:
On July 28, 2016, Riverbed Technology, headquartered in San Francisco, announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Aternity. Aternity, based in Westborough, Ma., is one of the few User Experience Management (UEM) vendors focusing on providing full visibility to the user endpoint. By integrating the Aternity technology to its existing SteelCentral Performance Management platform, Riverbed can offer one of the most complete Application Performance Management (APM) solutions in the industry.

The acquisition of the privately owned company is expected to close in August 2016, and financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
