Utimaco Delivers the First Quantum-Safe Hardware Security Module
Abstract: Commercially viable quantum computing may still be 10 to 20 years away, but the implications for the security of existing cryptographic algorithms and the sensitive information they protect are an issue today. In July 2019 Utimaco, one of the world’s largest hardware security module manufacturers, introduced the first HSM that can help manage the risk of quantum computers breaking existing cryptography by allowing early adoption of quantum-resistant crypto. |
