Abstract: Based on more than a decade of research, EMA has seen that IT’s adoption of automation in the past was largely ad hoc, an attempt to address specific issues and tasks one at a time. However, more recent research is indicating that this is beginning to change—that it’s finally time to engage IT organizations in a discussion about how to make their automation investments more unified, more integrated, and more strategic. |
