The Changing Face of Asset Management: Merging Asset, Service, and Financial Management
Abstract: Enterprise Management Associates (EMA) research shows that asset, service, and financial management are coming together to serve a greater business purpose. In the most up-to-date EMA study, 34% of the respondents currently manage asset and service management together and another 29% are planning to do so. Undoubtedly, traditional asset management - tracking IT assets, their characteristics, and deployment location - is clearly changing. For starters, asset management has taken on a new face that EMA calls 'next generation asset management (NGAM).' NGAM takes a holistic view of the central role assets play in evolving IT organizations. It specifically looks at the lifecycle of the asset and how it interfaces and links to service management and financial planning requirements in enterprise environments. Join EMA Research Director Lisa Erickson-Harris for this one-hour Webinar and learn about: * NGAM and why asset management has to change to support today’s IT and business environments * The role of best practice and configuration management data base (CMDB) adoption * Which organizations are effectively shaping the domain of advanced asset management If you are a CIO, IT Manager, or Finance and Compliance Manager, check out the replay today! |
